If you haven’t already heard, Study Hall is coming to Indianapolis! This long running comedy show mixes lectures with improv comedy to create a show where you laugh, learn, and leave without homework! The show has been running regularly in Philadelphia for almost 15 years and recently started performing in Chicago at the famous Second City!
Between IndyFringe Open Call auditions and our own auditions on June 5th, we saw almost 60 people! The talent that showed up was amazing across the board. So much talent and so much potential for me. We could have easily cast multiple shows – which we would like to have at some point – but for now we are focused on putting the best Study Hall cast together possible. In the end we whittled those 60 people down to only 10 people!
We are so proud to announce the first cast of our very first show – Study Hall Indianapolis – is: George Azar (he/him), Ezri Braid-Grizzell (she/her/they/them), Eliza Brown (they/them), Kelsey Griffin (she/her), Ana Eligio Hammersley (she/her), Mai Khuu (she/her), Holly Brooke Loper (she/her), Will Pfaffenberger (he/him), Brandon Wilson (he/him), and Chad Woodward (he/him). We are also super excited to let you know that tickets are now on sale! All tickets are sold through the IndyFringe Festival. Your ticket purchase helps support both Crossroads AND IndyFringe. Tickets are split 70/30 with 70 perrcent going to Crossroads and 30 going back to IF so they can continue supporting artists like us.

We have great hope that Study Hall will perform well, that we will sell out every show, and we will have to stuff people into the nooks and crannies of the IndyFringe Basille theatre insofar as the occupancy laws allow. Unfortunately, the road to a sold out improv shows is paved with good intentions. For that reason, we’d love not to rely only on ticket sales alone in covering the costs that we put into the show.
